Former Abia Warriors coach, Ladan Bosso, has now emerged as the main contender to take over Sunshine Stars along with Warri Wolves coach Paul Aigbogun.
Sources close to the Akure club disclosed that the former Nigeria U20 coach Bosso is now being considered to lead the team next season with Aigbogun also in the frame.
A planned interview for the coach to replace Kennedy Boboye, who quit Sunshine after he led them to finish fifth in the league this past season has been delayed because they are still expecting their monthly allocation from the Ondo State Government.
“Bosso has joined the race to coach Sunshine next season, he and the Warri Wolves coach Paul Aigbogun are now the main candidates for the job,” said the source.
“Wikki coach (Audu Maikaba) appears to have agreed with another club and so he is no longer in the reckoning.”
