‘Bode George remains an irredentist PDP member, will never shift position from zoning and rotation’

George

The impression that the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, contributed to the failure of the party in the 2023 election or at any other time is the wildest mischief from any warped mind.
Such thought can only be ascribed to anybody existing in the banana republic where the rules of the jungles apply, instead of the rule of civility.
Those engaging in such absurdity are the same people, who are encouraging the elements who see the PDP as their fiefdom and personal property.
To descend so low, to describe Chief Olabode George as talking like an innocent man, is an expression of an idle mind and absurdity taken too far.
Because he, Chief Olabode George has never hidden his avowed disapproval of any showmanship displayed by anybody, no matter how highly placed against the constitution of the party. He has always defended the principles of justice, equity and fairness conceptualized by the founding fathers of the PDP as enunciated in the principles of zoning and rotation which are entrenched in the party’s constitution.
Chief Olabode George, the Atoona Odua of Yorubaland does not fear any foe in the defence of the PDP’s principles of equity, justice and fairness. So talk about this reverred elderstatesman, talking like an innocent man is mere beer parlour thought from debased minds.
He has also insisted that he is an irredentist PDP member and has always defended his grounds that no other political entity is deep rooted as the party. He would always paint the picture of how the advent of the PDP has addressed the perennial problems of the majority/minority feud in the Night nation, which even the APC had embraced, despite its initial opposition to the principle.
His participation in the G5 group in the run-up to the 2023 general elections was a clear testimony of his endorsement of the principle of zoning and rotation conceptualised by the party founding fathers and entrenched in the constitution of the party, no more no less.
He has no regret whatsoever giving his support to Wike and his group but categorically speaking, the Atoona never worked for the APC against the PDP.
