The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, has described Alhaji Aliko Dangote as “an amazing gift to the world, and an enduring inspiration and motivation to growing entrepreneurs across Africa”
Oba Adeyemi made the remark in a message through his Director of Media and Publicity, ‘Bode Durojaiye, to commemorate the globally renowned business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on his 65th birthday.
Alaafin, who also referred to Dangote as a trans-generational personality, who has been a worthy example to Nigeria and Africa, noted that he has given “the people hope that they can build their continent themselves and be completely independent and responsible for themselves”.
According to the Paramount Ruler, “awesome! greatness personified. My major take away from you sir is that a man has ability to do and become whatever he desires. The Alaafin also congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 46th birthday.
Oba Elegushi is the 21st Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, and a descendant of Kusenla Ruling House of Ikateland in Lagos State.
