Bayelsa state police command has dragged Tonye Okio, a former aide of Timipre Sylva, the immediate past governor of the state, and the Managing Director of FAK Engineering Company, Fakuma Ilagha to court over alleged conspiracy and defamation of character.
The two accused, according to a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Peter Ogboi have been remanded in prison custody while the case has been adjourned to 21st November 2013 for hearing.
The police warned potential trouble makers to desist, or incur the wrath of the law.
