Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique, has been announced as coach of the year at the 2015 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich.
The Spaniard was nominated alongside Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola and Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli.
While Enrique was unable to attend the ceremony himself, his award was accepted by Barcelona director, Robert Fernandez.
“The other candidates have a lot of quality,” Fernandez said on Enrique’s behalf.
“Luis would have me share this present with all those who supported him, including the staff, the fans and our incredible players.”
