Former Vice President and leading Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, and former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Monday, met at the Akure Airport, Ondo State.
Atiku, who was on his way to Ekiti State on a working visit, ran into Tinubu, who was with some APC leaders, including the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, to strategise on the July 14 Ekiti State governorship elections.
With Atiku were former governor of Ogun State and the Director-General of his Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, Captain Yaya Abubakar, Adamu Abubakar, and others.
Amid banters, the politicians discussed politics and the chances of PDP and APC in the 2019 presidential elections.
Also present were Kashim Imam and Pius Akinyelure.
