Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr has performed an unreleased song titled “Ms Paper” during an appearance on the TODAY show in the United States.
The singer performed the song as part of her appearance on the programme, giving fans a preview of her forthcoming third studio album, “Starr Girl.”
Ayra Starr shared footage of the performance on her social media platforms, where fans and followers reacted to the performance and expressed anticipation for the new album.
The performance comes ahead of the release of Starr Girl through Mavin Records and Republic Records, scheduled for Aug. 14.
The album will be the singer’s first full-length project since her 2024 album, “The Year I Turned 21”.
Starr Girl was initially announced by the singer during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in April, with an initial release window set for July.
The release date was later moved to Aug. 14, alongside the unveiling of the album’s official artwork.
Ayra Starr, known for her hit songs, including “Rush” and “Away”, has continued to build an international audience through her music and live performances.
