Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, and his New Zealand counterpart, Christopher Luxon, have highlighted their ties to the United States (U.S.) as they join world leaders in congratulating Donald Trump on the U.S. election outcome.
“Australians and Americans are great friends and true allies,’’ Albanese writes on X.
“Working together, we can ensure the partnership between our nations and peoples remains strong into the future.
“The U.S. is one of New Zealand’s most important partners,’’ Luxon posts.
He added that he was looking forward to “building New Zealand’s relationship with his incoming administration’’.
