PDP not an option in 2019 presidential election, says Oshiomhole

PDP not an option in 2019 presidential election, says Oshiomhole

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, returned to the country from Dubai on Sunday morning.
As his private jet landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja around 1a.m., security operatives were waiting for him.
They did not allow the former Vice President to disembark.
Rather, they boarded the jet and embarked on a thorough search.
However, nothing incriminating, aside personal effects of Atiku, his aides and crew members, was found.
A source said “they were probably looking for bags of hard currencies”.
Atiku later disembarked and was driven away in a convoy.
The PDP candidate confirmed the development in a tweet
Atiku said: “I arrived Abuja this morning to a search by agents of the state, aimed at intimidating me and my staff.
“I am committed to building a Nigeria where no citizen is intimidated by agents of state who are paid to protect them.
“Together, #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain.”
