Atiku appoints Ibe as Head, Media Office, solicits support for Buhari

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has appointed Mazi Paul Ibe as Head of Atiku Media Office (AMO) and spokesman of the former Vice President.
The appointment is contained in a statement by Ibe in Abuja in which the former Vice President also solicited for the support of Nigerians for the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ibe takes over from Malam Garba Shehu, who was recently appointed as Senior Special Assistant (Media & Publicity) to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ibe, who had worked alongside Shehu as Deputy Director (Media & Publicity) in the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council was until his appointment Deputy Head of the Atiku Media Office.
Also, Alhaji Olusola Sanni, journalist and former Editor at Compass Newspaper was appointed as Deputy Head of the Atiku Media Office.
According to the statement, the Turaki Adamawa restated his commitment to the Buhari administration and enjoined Nigerians to also support him in the arduous task of turning Nigeria around to work for all.
“I wish to restate the commitment I gave even long before the election of President Buhari to back him to the hilt. I urge all Nigerians to give their unalloyed support to him, so that he can better deliver on the mandate of making Nigeria work for all Nigerians.”
