At graduation lecture of Divine Favour Theological and Specialised Seminary, Bamgboye, Kunde speak on ‘role model in Lord’s Vineyard’

A former Permanent Secretary in Lagos State, Mr. Biodun Bamgboye, has charged men of God in the country to be a role model in the Lord’s Vineyard.

Bamgboye gave the charge in Mowe at the weekend during the 2023 Graduation Public lecture of Divine Favour Theological and Specialised Seminary entitled : “The Model Minister in God’s Vineyard “.

The former Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Ministry of Local Government, Establishment, Training and Pensions further urged the ministers to be men after God’s heart . Love Jesus Christ, serve the church of God faithfully and sincerely and hunger for God’s presence at all times.

He reminded the ministers about their responsibilities to God and His people, especially in the area of soul winning, sowing seeds of God’s words in the people, providing spiritual guidance to the people amongst others.

Bamgboye further tasked them to have a deep love for Jesus Christ and his flock .

Said he: ” As a model minister in God’s Vineyard, you must have a unique personality, emotional intelligence in which you know yourself very well,manage yourself, have knowledge of the people and the environment as well as relating excellently with the people”.

In his Keynote Address at the ceremony, a parish Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Daniel Kunde, congratulated the ministers and urged them to give their best to God.

Pastor Kunde stated that God’s servants are expected to offer their selfless services to God and where necessary make their resources available to promote the work of God.

The man of God reminded the ministers that the fish that swallowed Jonah is still very alive in the sea and therefore advised the ministers to always do the will of God.

Pastor Kunde further led a special graduation prayer for the ministers and prayed God to order their steps.

The Rector of the Seminary,A/ Prof. Tayo Popoola, congratulated all the graduating ministers and urged them not to forget the quality lectures received through their Professor lecturers and General Overseers who taught them during the session.

The Registrar of the Seminary,Pastor ( Mrs) Yemisi Popoola, said the school has trained several ministers from Ondo, Lagos and Ogun states since inception in 2008.

Dignitaries from all walks of life attended the ceremony.
