ANTP concludes 2nd Annual National Conference, unveils Digital ID Card for members

The Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) has successfully concluded its 2nd Annual National Conference, themed “Gnosis and Epiphany,” at the BCOS NUJ Hall in Bashorun, Ibadan. The conference brought together industry professionals, academics, researchers, and theatre enthusiasts to engage in intellectual discourse and showcase innovative artistic works.

Themed “Gnosis and Epiphany,” the conference featured insightful keynote addresses and panel discussions led by esteemed veterans and experts. Topics discussed included financial budgeting and cost-effective productions, essential acting skills on stage and screen, and challenges and remedies in cinematography at film locations.

In a significant milestone, the ANTP unveiled and presented new digital National Identity Cards to members, marking a major step towards digitising the association’s operations and enhancing member benefits. The initiative was spearheaded by the National President, Dr. Rasak Oyadiran.

The conference was attended by high-ranking government officials and special dignitaries, including the Acting PS, Mrs. M.A. Agboola, representing the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Oyo State, and representatives from the ANTP Board of Trustees.

The ANTP has congratulated its members and expressed appreciation to the National President and the planning committee for their efforts in organising a successful and impactful national conference.

The ANTP is the foremost professional body for theatre and film practitioners in Nigeria, dedicated to promoting excellence, ethical standards and sustainable growth within the industry.
