The Anambra Homeland Consciousness initiative is set to be officially launched on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Villa Park Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
This was disclosed on Tuesday by Hon. Barr. Leo I. Chiegboka, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State.

Speaking during a press conference at the Anambra State Liaison Office in Lagos, Chiegboka emphasized the significance of the initiative in fostering unity, harnessing collective resources and creating sustainable development pathways for Anambra State.

“The Anambra Homeland Consciousness initiative is more than an event. It is a movement aimed at strengthening our identity, deepening our commitment and enhancing our responsibility as Ndi Anambra, both at home and in the diaspora,” Chiegboka stated.
Spearheaded by the Anambra State Liaison Office and championed by the Soludo-led administration, the initiative seeks to drive strategic conversations on key issues, including economic empowerment, investment opportunities and infrastructural development.

“Our homeland is not just a geographical entity; it is our heritage, our pride, and the foundation upon which we must build a prosperous future,” he added. “Through meaningful dialogue, collaboration and strategic planning, we can unlock new opportunities that will propel Anambra State forward, particularly in this technology-driven era.”

Chiegboka urged all Ndi Anambra, especially those residing in Lagos and beyond, to participate in the event.
“Your voice, ideas and contributions matter. Together, we can make a lasting impact and ensure that Anambra remains a beacon of excellence in Nigeria and beyond”.
