ibikunle_amosunGov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun on Wednesday in Abeokuta described his endorsement for second term as ”a call for more service”.

The chairmen of Action Congress Nigeria (ACN) in the 20 local government areas of the state had at a joint session adopted Amosun as the ACN flagbearer in the 2015 gubernatorial elections.

Amosun stated this when the chairmen paid him a visit.

“I regard the adoption as another call for service. It is a call on me not to relent in my efforts and work even more.’’

“I will do my best. I expect you to also do your best to deliver dividends of democracy to our people in your respective areas.

“A good product does not require much advertisement and you know that a good product in our case is simply performance.

“The only way we can ensure victory for our party in 2015 is to deliver on our promise to raise the living standard of the people.’’

Amosun said that the electorate could no longer be taken for granted, noting that the voting pattern ‘’is now based on performance’’.

He expressed his willingness to work hard to enhance the chances of the party in winning the 2015 general elections.
