President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, met with governors on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
At the meeting were Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Abubakar Bello (Niger), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Rochas Okorocha (Imo), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa) and Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara).
Although the agenda of the meeting was unknown, a source said that it may not be unconnected with political developments in the governors’ states.

He said the governors “are in Aso Rock to report alleged dictatorial tendency of APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, to the president”.
Some of the governors are not happy with the decision of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party on primaries in their respective states.
Some of the governors are also not comfortable with the party’s decision to offer automatic tickets to some lawmakers because of their loyalty during the mass defection to opposition parties.
It would be recalled that two of the APC governors, Malam Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State and Akeredolu met with Buhari on a similar mission on Wednesday.
