Flying Eagles goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu, has been cleared to play for Portuguese side, Estoril FC, by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup’s best goalkeeper had been on hold as both Future Stars and Football College claimed ownership.
However, at a meeting in Abuja, the Players’ Status Committee led Alhaji Babagana Kalli, ruled as minor the contracts two non-league clubs claimed they signed with the player.
“Future Stars Academy of Lagos and Football College, Abuja will only be entitled to training compensation/solidarity mechanism in accordance with the FIFA Regulations on Players’ Status and Transfer, 2014,” the committee ruled.
With this, Alampasu will now join new Super Eagles midfielder, Anderson Esiti at Estádio António Coimbra da Mota.
