Alaafin’s son to Akala, Ladoja: You are politicians with dead conscience

From Bode Durojaiye, Oyo.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for House of Representatives in Oyo Federal Constituency, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, has described former Governors Adebayo Alao-Akala and Rasheed Ladoja as “politicians with dead conscience who rather than being remorseful, still go about polluting the political atmosphere with nauseating and
defecating utterances’’.
Adeniyi, who is Alaafin of Oyo’s son stated this at a rally organised for him and Governor Abiola Ajimobi by hundreds of traditional worshippers from the four local governments that constitute the federal constituency.
Adeniyi, who challenged the two former governors to tell the world their contributions to the development of Oyo and its environs, pointed out that “the only achievement recorded by them was the destabilisation and embezzlement of funds meant for the state traditional council’’.
He said no political party in the country can either boast or parade distinguished eminent personalities who are of redoubtable characters like the APC at the moment.
“If the PDP has the likes of General Muhammadu Buhari, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Alhaji Aminu Masari, Chief John Oyegun, Alhaji Ibrahim Shekarau. Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, former Abia State Governor Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, the party would not have been sinking and abysmally shred into pieces as it is now’’.
The APC candidate noted that the only way to change the country of impunity and messy governance of the PDP-led government is to join hands with progressives like-minds to wrest power from a government that takes solace in criminal extravagance.
“It is incontrovertible that everybody in this country is fed up
with the PDP-led federal government. A government that is providing cover for its corrupt officials and making them sacred cows that are untouchables. Recently in Ghana, a Deputy Minister was sacked by the country’s President for making public utterance that he would make millions of money before leaving the office. But here in Nigeria, the
reverse is the case. This informed the unalloyed struggle by APC leadership to team up with serious-minded and diligent men, to salvage the country from treasury looters and power mongers’’.
Describing Buhari and Ajimobi as quintessence personified
and innately refined gentlemen of class and pure embodiment of life-long cherished values, Adeniyi urged the people not to be deluded by deceitful methods of the oppositions who go about mortgaging their conscience with financial inducement and clothing.
While canvassing total support for all APC candidates in next month’s general elections, Adeniyi said this is the only way to change a despotic government and usher in dawn of new era.
