Again, Falae’s farm destroyed by Fulani herdsmen

Two weeks after he was released by suspected Fulani herdsmen, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae, has again suffered in the hands of the marauders.
Over a kilometre of maize farm was destroyed during the invasion of his Ilado, Akure North Local Government, Ondo State farm on Sunday.
The Fulani herdsmen grazed their flock in the farm on Sunday around 2am, leading to the mass destruction of the farmland.
The Farm Manager, Mr. Bruno Akhigbodemen, confirmed this on Wednesday.
“When the farm was being destroyed by the cattle, workers around protested but they were threatened by the herdsmen. The matter has been reported to the state Police Command.
“Because of the complaint, policemen were deployed to the farm on Monday but up till now, no arrest has been made. This latest destruction of the farm is devastating”.
