Super Eagles Manager, Eric Chelle, on Tuesday, admitted that the semifinal tie between Morocco and Nigeria slated for Wednesday in Rabat will be the biggest test of the Nigerian team at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Chelle stated that with the expectations of the home fans and the quality in the Morocco side, the Eagles will have to double efforts to pick the ticket to the final scheduled for January 18.
The Eagles coach, however, added that Nigeria have what it takes to handle the pressure from the host team in the encounter which promises to be highly explosive.
Chelle said: ”Algeria was a big test, every game is big but the semifinal against the host team will be the biggest test for this team because the expectation is so big. We are also ready for this game against Morocco.
“In this tournament, we try to play every game like the last, we give everything and we gave everything. Like I said earlier, I have to check my players physically because we played days before so we have to rest and after, I will judge how is my team and we can think about the game plan.
“We are ready for this challenge as a team and we will together give everything to pick the ticket to play in the final”.
