As part of their cardinal point for the year to support the Rotary’s new area of focus, Support Planet Earth /Environment Rotary Club Onigbongbo District 9110 has planted some species of flowers and tree to beautify the environmental space of Community Senior High School, Wasinmi, Maryland, Ikeja.
To celebrate the International Tree Planting Day, the new President of the club, Rotarian Prince Adebowale Aderotoye said the initiative, which is a new programme in the club, was done on based on directives from Rotary International which ordered that it must be included on the philanthropic activities of the club across the globe.
Aderotoye said the planting of the tree and flowers will go a long way in beautifying the school environment as well as contributing to a greener nature.
