ACN_logoThe Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has sent its condolences to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan, on the passing of her mother.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it was shocked and saddened by the news of the death which, undoubtedly, was untimely considering the circumstances that led to it.

”The death of a loved one is always a moment of deep pain and sorrow, hence we pray that God will give the First Lady and all those left to mourn her mother the strength to bear their loss. We also pray that God will grant the departed eternal rest,” it said.
