The Abundant Life Gospel Church has commenced the 10th edition of the annual Superfest.
It started on August 4 and will run till 10th at the church’s Peace Cathedral, Agege, Lagos.
According to the General Overseer of the church; Rev. (Dr.) Jane Onaolapo, the theme of the conference is: The Excellent Spirit.
The woman of God said in a statement in Lagos on Saturday. SUPERFEST is an inter-denominational Conference which brings together men and women of God from within and outside Nigeria to impart in them great mysteries of Gospel which will equip them for uncommon achievements in life and ministry.
“It was inaugurated in February 2008, when God spoke to the convener, Bishop Kola Onaolapo of blessed memory, to bring together men and women to be blessed, equipped for fresh fire and the unction for greater exploits,” according to Mrs Onaolapo.
My late husband said God told him that a great revival was coming to Nigeria and that. He would use him to empower His people for it. On God’s instruction, Bishop Onaolapo, through Superfest began to gather General Overseers of Churches, Pastors, Evangelists and Church workers to study, pray and learn the secrets of Ministry and the Gospel.
From that time to date, participants have come from all the 36 States of Nigeria, some West and East African Countries, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Canada to participate in this unique and great inter-denominational festival. Renowned, speakers as well as business men and women from within and outside Nigeria attend the conference as guest speakers annually.
After each year’s festival, outstanding testimonies keep rolling in, according to Rev Onaolapo.
She said: “We are being empowered again for exploits in life and ministry and we look forward to seeing as many ministers as can attend”. She added that Superfest is open to all Christian denominations as it is an opportunity for a refreshing experience in God’s presence.
Superfest was launched 10 years ago by the founding Bishop of the Abundant Life Gospel Church, the late Dr. Kola Onaolapo, who went to be with the Lord five years ago. The programme was conceived to empower ministers with the knowledge of the word of God, ministry tools as well as the anointing for ministerial exploits especially hinterland missions.
Now in its 10th edition, Mrs. Onaolapo, who said she’s grateful to God for the grace to carry on her late husband’s vision, promised that “this year’s Superfest will be an explosive anniversary feast”.
