The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC has appointed  a Team Coordinator and other officials for its U-15 football team.
The club,  in a statement in Ilorin  by its Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka,  said a former Media Officer of the team, Mr Jimoh Bashir,  is the new Team Coordinator.
The statement also confirmed the appointment of  Mr Toyin Saheed as the Media Officer for the youth team  while Mr Taofeek Babatunde was appointed as Assistant Coach to Suleiman Toume.
A former player of the club, Yahaya Oniyangi,  was also appointed as the Curator for the U-15 side.
According to the statement, their appointments are with immediate effect.
Responding to his appointment, Bashir said he was surprised by the assignment and promised to give his best while discharging his duties.
‘‘It is a break away from what I’m used to; I will do my best to justify the confidence reposed in me.
‘‘The confidence is a challenge and  I will uphold the moto of the club which is discipline.
‘‘I promise not to disappoint the club,’’ Bashir said in Ilorin on Saturday.
ABS FC will square up with the U-15 teams of Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars, 3Sc and MFM FC in Osogbo in a LaLiga/ League Management Company (LMC) organised U-15 competition.
