The Rotary Club of Onigbongbo celebrated her 40th Anniversary and installed her 41st President, Rtn. Razaq Adesina Babatunde Salau to run the affairs of the club for the next one year.
The event was held at the weekend in a colorful ceremony at the Rotary Centre, Ladoke Akintola Street, Ikeja.
It was a combination of anniversary, presidents investiture and awards ceremony. The event brought together dignitaries from all walks of life who came to felicitate with Rotary Club of Onigbongbo.
Speaking at the event, the guest speaker noted that it is possible to be a Rotarian without joining Rotary Club, by supporting Rotary Ideas and projects, doing more humanitarian work.
He mentioned some of his humanitarian works across the country.
The New President unveiled his projects for the Rotary Year 2022-2023.
He said “we shall continue the strategic partnership with government, organisations, humanitarian groups and individuals”.
