Besides mischief making, cynical motives and political acrimony, most people of Oyo metropolis know that their representative at the House of Representatives in the National Assembly, Abuja, Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi (Skimeh), is equal to the task, committed, responsive and responsible to his constituents.
Skimeh is representing Oyo Federal Constituency, comprising of Afijio, Ariba, Oyo East and Oyo West local Governments’ areas of Oyo at the National Assembly..
By there is a man, a dedicated, staunch, die hard and card carrying member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) .
His name is Mr. Yekini Owoyemi, a 40-year-old and commercial motorcycle rider who hails from Ile Sagan, Iyalamu, Ward one, in the Ariba local government area of Oyo State.
Yekini and his family’s polling unit is Arinago.
He has been with the party for more than 16 years, dated back to the defunct Action Congress (AC) which was later transformed to the present APC.
He serves all the Ayabas with his worn out commercial motorcycle who send him on errands.
Unfortunately, Yekini Owoyemi, inspite of his unalloyed loyalty to the party, he has either been sidelined or not considered for any of the various empowerments made available to members so far, despite his continuous appeals to concerned party leaders.
Yekini’s commercial motorcycle which is the only means of survival for him and his family will soon be off the road if he could not find any assistance to bail him, since he is living from hand to mouth.
Consequently, Yekini Owoyemi on behalf of his family, as a matter of utmost concern, is therefore sending an SOS (Save Our Soul) and appealing to Honourable Prince Akeem Adeyemi Adeyemi to be passionate with him and come to his aid.
