23 Ships Discharge Petroleum Products, Other Commodities at Lagos Ports – NPA

A total of 23 ships are currently discharging petroleum products and other goods at the Apapa, Lekki, and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

The NPA disclosed on Tuesday that the ships are offloading a variety of items, including petrol, aviation fuel, bulk gas, base oil, bulk urea, containers, fertiliser, general cargo, bulk wheat, trucks, and frozen fish.

In addition, 36 more ships laden with petroleum products, food items, and other goods are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports between Tuesday and May 15. These ships are scheduled to bring in general cargoes, bulk wheat, aviation fuel, gasoline, frozen fish, diesel, containers with various goods, condensate, and petrol.

The NPA also mentioned that 10 ships had already arrived and are waiting to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, bulk sugar, bulk fertilizer, bitumen, containers, general cargo, and petrol.
