11, 000 youth benefit from N-Power program in Katsina State – Official

A total of 11,000 youths have benefitted from the Batch C Stream of the N-Power Programme in Katsina State, an official said on Thursday in Katsina.

Abdulkadir Mamman-Nasir, Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor on Employment and Special Intervention, said this while issuing engagement letters to the N-Power beneficiaries.

According to him, the beneficiaries were engaged under B-Teach, N-Agro, B-Health, N-Building and N-Creative schemes.

Mamman-Nasir, who is the Focal Person of the National Social Investment Program in the state, advised the beneficiaries to remain focused and punctual in places of their primary assignment.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Hajiya Sadiya Farouk for the social intervention programs meant to reduce poverty and unemployment in the country.
