English Premier League club, Watford FC, are eyeing Granada forward, Isaac Success, in case interest in Odion Ighalo from Manchester United comes to fruition this summer.
Manager Quique Sanchez Flores confirmed his admiration for Success on Thursday, talking up the 20-year-old as a hitman well-suited to the Barclays Premier League.
And he could be the man to replace Ighalo, who has netted 14 goals in his debut Premier League campaign to catch the eyes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Watford’s owners, the Pozzo family, own Granada too and Nigerian star Ighalo also played for the La Liga club before moving to Hertfordshire.

And while Flores would not discuss losing his star striker, he did confess an admiration for Success.

‘We have been checking players for a long time because it’s necessary if we want to be right at the moment to select a player,’ Flores said.

‘Success is a very good player, he has power, he has the physical characteristics to play in England, but he’s younger and we need to think about the future of this player, or if we have the possibility of this player in the future.’

When asked about the fear of losing Ighalo, he added: ‘I don’t want to think like this, I am a really positive person.

‘I understand everyone is talking about the future of some players in Watford but for me it’s necessary to keep calm and to trust the players that you do this in Watford.

‘But football is football, sometimes the players need to go for other places.’

Igahlo’s countryman Success has four La Liga goals this season for second-bottom Granada.

He was reported to be a £9 million target for Spartak Moscow in January but the Russian Premier League side were unable to secure a deal.
