*INVASION OF GOODWILL PRIVATE SCHOOLS LIMITED, IKORODU BY THE EFCC.

Persons who claimed to be Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials invaded the Goodwill Private Schools Limited located at Eyita Estate, off Sagamu Road, Ikorodu , Lagos State about an hour ago.

The Principal of the School, Mrs. Olufemi-King Saidat, Iyabode Abosede together with one Mr. Collins Success Omodekah (staff of the school) were whisked away.

The arrest was done on the school premises in the glare of students. No warrant of arrest was shown to the Principal and no reason(s) were adduced for the arrest.

The school is now in disarray. Names of the alleged officers that came for the arrest were not given.

The attached pictures were the earlier action the EFCC carried out at the school in the month of May when students in the school were writing external examinations.

The Goodwill Private Schools Limited, the Proprietor of the school and the Principal of the school are not involved in any criminal act(s) for which the EFCC will be hunting for them.

We demand that Mrs. Olufemi-King Saidat, Iyabode Abosede and Mr. Collins Success Omodekah be released forthwith.

If the EFCC has any reasonable ground of any offence against the School, its Proprietor and the Principal, we suggest that they should charge them to the Court.

We call on well meaning Nigerians to prevail on the EFCC at Ikoyi branch to stop harassing the School, its Proprietor, Principal Staff of the school and that the persons arrested should be released unconditionally.

Dated at Lagos this 24th day of June, 2024.

*E-signed
Otunba (Dr) Benson Enikuomehin, FCPA.
Solicitor to the School.
