Akpabio to Wike: Ignore Ireti Kingibe

Ireti Kingibe

Senator Ireti Kingibe, representating the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, has defected from the Labour Party (LP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Kingibe addressed reporters in Abuja and affirmed her allegiance to the ADC coalition, expressing her dedication to the party’s goals.

“As a senator, I am fully dedicated to ADC. Nonetheless, as the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), I don’t anticipate you simply giving me a card,” she stated.

Despite not having her membership card yet, Kingibe emphasised her strong support for the coalition’s mission and direction.
