Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Jibrin Barau, has congratulated Senate President Godswill Akpabio on his 62nd birthday.
Barau, in a congratulatory message in Abuja on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, described Akpabio as a patriotic Nigerian par excellence.
He said Akpabio had greatly contributed to the advancement of the legislative arm and the country’s overall development.
Barau, who also serves as a member of the ECOWAS Parliament, lauded Akpabio’s leadership, which has fostered robust synergy between the legislative and executive arms, benefiting the general populace.
“I join all Nigerians and well-wishers worldwide in congratulating you, Mr President of the Senate, Akpabio, on your 62nd birthday anniversary.
“Your remarkable journey from governor to senator, minority leader, minister, and now President of the Senate has been truly exemplary and groundbreaking.
“Your dedication to advancing the legislative arm, fostering robust legislative-executive synergy, and promoting overall nation-building has indeed distinguished you as a patriotic Nigerian par excellence.”
