Cristiano Ronaldo is happy at Real Madrid and will see out his playing career at the Bernabeu, insists his agent, Jorge Mendes.
The 30-year-old’s future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, with reports of a falling out with head coach, Rafa Benitez, suggesting this could be his final season in Madrid.
As a result, Ronaldo has been heavily linked with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, as well as a sensational return to former club, Manchester United.
However, according to his agent, the three-time Ballon d’Or winner will remain at Real for the rest of his career before retiring in 10 years’ time.
“He is the best player of all time and I am sure he will play for the next four, five, six, seven years at Real Madrid,” Mendes said in Italy.
“He will end his career there. He is happy at Los Blancos, he’ll hang up his boots when he is 40.”
