Ronaldo is first athlete with 200 million social media followers

Cristiano Ronaldo, Portuguese international footballer who plays for Spanish club, Real Madrid, has become the first athlete to have 200 million social media followers.
The three-time winner of the World Footballer of the Year award thanked his fans on Thursday night on his website, as he celebrated the feat.
“Really proud to be the first with 200 million social media followers.
“A big thanks to all my fans,” he said.
According to Ronaldo, he has 40.7 million followers on Twitters, 109. 6million followers on Facebook and 49.9 million followers on Instagram.
