Japanese police arrested a police inspector on suspicion of trespassing and secretly filming women with a hidden camera in a police box restroom.
Kyodo News reported on Wednesday, citing the prefectural police saying the suspect, Tetsuzo Suzuki, allegedly entered a police box in western Shizuoka on April 27 and placed a small camera in the women’s toilet.
Investigators believe the 45-year-old officer filmed three women multiple times between April 30 and June 5, the report said.
Police said Suzuki has denied the allegations.
