President of the Senate, Chief Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday, stormed Uyo Senatorial District as part of ongoing efforts in boosting national unity, party cohesion and galvanising public support for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government.
The event which held at the Kara Event Center witnessed massive turnout of Akwa Ibom indigenes and faithful of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Akpabio in his speech, thanked the people of Uyo Senatorial District for the support for the Tinubu administration and informed them of the district’s vital role as the bedrock of the future of APC in Akwa Ibom State.
“The unity of the party in Uyo Senatorial District is very key to the success of our party. I urge, the elders, stakeholders, women and youth to close ranks for the unity of the party,” he said.
“President Bola Tinubu has promised to bring dividends of democracy to Akwa Ibom State and Uyo being the seat of government stands a better chance as the beneficiary of the Renewed Hope Agenda of our government” Akpabio added.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of a monumental statue of ๐๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ง๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ (๐๐ซ.) ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐จ ๐๐๐, by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ธ ๐จ๐ธ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐ด on behalf of party elders in the district in appreciation of his effort towards rebuilding the party, as well as the even spread of political appointments across the length and breath of Uyo senatorial district.

Akpabio arrived Uyo in a carnival-form accompanied by an illustrious son of the senatorial district, Senator Ita Solomon Enang, and was welcomed by political associates, supporters and friends.
In his speech, Ennang, thanked Senator Akpabio for the visit.
He said: “Nigeria has made the best choice by having their son, His Excellency, Senator Akpabio, as the President and Chairman Of The 10th, National Assembly.”

Enang reiterated the readiness of President Bola Tinubu and Akpabio to work with the good people and government of the state to position Akwa Ibom state for greater benefits.
