The Wife of Osun State Governor, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Titilola Adeleke, has called on women and women groups in the state to give more support to her husband to succeed.
Mrs. Adeleke made the call on Monday when she received delegates from Osun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Women Leaders, Members of National Women Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and State Coordinators who paid a courtesy visit on her in Osogbo.

The Osun State First Lady, who insisted that more support from all women groups in the state would ensure success for her husband’s administration, promised the delegates led by Yeye Adenike Shobajo that on her part, she would support every programme that is targeted at growth and development of women and youths in the state.

“Under my husband’s watch, Osun State and its people are guaranteed of growth and progress that can only be associated with light. His Excellency has promised to build strong and enduring partnerships with relevant stakeholders to innovatively tackle and solve the problems of poverty, illiteracy, disease and poor healthcare and infrastructure in our dear state.

“It is globally established that once a woman is empowered, then her family, community, region and country are empowered. Therefore, as the wife of the Governor and First Lady of Osun State, I hereby promise to give my unflinching support to this administration by promoting and supporting programmes that target women and youths. I cannot do this without your support, so let us as women and mothers work together to help our dear Governor make his promises a reality.” She pleaded.

Mrs. Adeleke also affirmed that with the unity among women groups in the party both at state and national levels, as evidenced by the visit of delegates, victories are sure for all the party’s candidates both at state and national levels during the 2023 general elections.

“I am more than certain I would enjoy the support of our great women not just at the state level but at the national level as evidenced by this courtesy visit paid to me by our Party Women Leaders in Osun State in the company of some members of the PCC National Women Campaign Council in Osun State led by Yeye Adenike Shobajo. We have all committed to working together to secure the victory of our great party, PDP, at the polls come February and March 2023,” she said.
