Former Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue has congratulated Gov. Hyacinth Alia on his 58th birthday.

This is contained in a statement by his Media Aide, Mr Terver Akase on Wednesday in Makurdi.

Ortom prayed for God’s guidance for Alia as he led the state to prosperity.

“Your Excellency, as you celebrate, I pray that God grants you wisdom, good health and strength to enable you to continue to steer the affairs of our dear state.

“Leadership comes with its numerous challenges, but I have no doubt that with God’s grace and guidance, all problems are surmountable,” he said.

He wished Alia a memorable birthday and many more years ahead.

Also, the Interim National Executive Committee of the Benue University Alumni Association (BSUAA), has congratulated Alia for attaining 58 years of age.

Prof. Qrisstuberg Amua, ASUAA, Chairman, said that his exemplary leadership as the governor of Benue illuminated the path toward progress in massive infrastructure expansion and prosperity.

He added that Alia embodied the values of integrity, compassion and dedication to the call of service to the forgotten and abandoned people of the state.

“Your unwavering commitment to the Benue civil service, coupled with your profound wisdom and guidance in leadership, continues to inspire us all with a truly renewed hope in the project of governance, as Benue citizens and residents.

“May this milestone be adorned with joyous moments and cherished memories, as you reflect on the remarkable journey behind and anticipate the promising path ahead.

“Your contributions to the betterment of our beloved state resonate deeply within our alumni community and we are immensely grateful for your steadfast leadership, as the Visitor to our cherished Alma Mater and Grand Patron of our beloved BSUAA,” Amua said.

He wished him abundant blessings, good health and continued success in all his endeavors.
