Ooni of Ife marries Wuraola Obanor in Benin

Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Saturday in Benin City, married a new wife, Wuraola Obanor.
The Ooni paid the bride price of the new “Oloori” at her family residence in Benin.
“Wuraola was later presented to the family of the Ooni after the payment of the bride price.
Oloori Wuraola later sat on the lap of Ooni’s father, His Royal Highness, Omooba Ogunwusi, at the count of seven in accordance with Benin traditional marriage rites.
The marriage reception was held at the Edo Hotel in Benin.
Speaking at the event, the father of the bride, Mr Williams Obanor, expressed joy in giving his daughter in marriage to the Ife Royal House.
