A motivational speaker, Mr. Egbert Imomoh, has advised Nigerian Youths to strive for good choices in order to achieve their life goals.
Speaking in Lagos on Monday at Augustine University, llara – Epe as a Guest Speaker at a one-day seminar organised by the University as part of activities to kick-start the second semester of 2021/2022 academic session, Imomoh tasked the students to be dedicated and use their time productively.
His words: “Life is all about making choices. You can choose to be good or bad. Remember good or bad has consequences. The foundation of good life is that of making good choices”.
Quoting a former President of the Republic of South Africa, Dr. Nelson Mandela, Imomoh said “everything we do on earth, whether good or bad, is put in a direction”.

He urged the students not to be afraid of taking decisions, pointing out that “be ready to face good and bad results. Whether it is a right or wrong decision, only time can tell. Whatever is the result, do not regret it. Whatever is the outcome, learn from it and remember that today’s choices may determine tomorrow’s regret”.
In his remark at the occasion, the institution’s Vice – Chancellor, Professor Christopher Odetunde, stressed the importance of the students recognising who they are stressing that “Knowing who you are determines your choices”.
Principal Officers of the University, Deans of Faculties, Dean of Students Affairs, Heads of Departments amongst others graced the occasion.
