The third Free Data Day on the fully integrated telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has been announced to be Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.
This was announced on Monday at a press conference addressed by Globacom’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Ashok Israni, who said that the Glo Overload Free Data Day “provides qualified subscribers with 200 MB free data to enjoy a free day of free browsing, chatting, streaming, downloading, uploading and doing whatever catches their fancy”.
Israni disclosed further that the first two Free Data Days held on Friday, 11th August, 2017, and Thursday, 28th September, 2017, were massively successful leading to an overwhelming demand by subscribers for another Free Data Day.
He added that subscribers would qualify to enjoy the offer if they use 100MB plus N150 on voice calls or N250 on voice calls between Tuesday 24th October and Tuesday 31st October, 2017, and then dial *777# to enjoy the Glo Overload offer.
Other values subscribers will get with 200 MB, the Globacom top notch explained is that “with that quantum of data, a subscriber will be able to send and receive 1,000 emails without attachments, send and receive 150 emails with attachments, view around 400 Web pages, post around 50 photos on social media and use WhatsApp the whole day.”

He explained further that customers would be notified when they have qualified for the Free Data Day to opt in to enjoy the benefits. “When a customer qualifies for the offering, he will be able to enjoy free data usage throughout that day like it happened earlier.”
He added that the offer is open to all prepaid Glo subscribers who meet the voice and/or data usage threshold within seven days before the Free Data Day.
