NFF to Amuneke: Want Super Eagles job? Win U-20 World Cup

Chairman of the Technical Committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chris Green, has given Flying Eagles coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, a tall order.
He must win the U-20 World Cup for him to be considered as coach of Super Eagles.
Nigeria is yet to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup, despite coming close in 1989 and 2005.
Green said Amuneke could stake a strong claim for the country’s top coaching post should he make history next year with the Flying Eagles after he led the U-17s to World Cup glory in 2015.
“He has already won the U-17 World cup and has now been taken up to the U-20s with his boys. And should he now deliver again, he could take over the U-23s or even the Super Eagles,” declared Green.
Coach Samson Siasia was considered for the Super Eagles post after his exploits with both the Flying Eagles and the country’s Olympic team.
