*RE: Joash Ministries Debunks N306.1m Fraud Allegation Leveled Against Organisation’s Chairman

Joash Ministries has debunked a report that its chairman, Reverend Paul-Kayode Joash, defrauded his clients of a sum of N306.1m, citing logistic delay in processing clients’ applications.

The organisation, in an official statement, noted that it has initiated the refund process, and reaffirm its commitment to satisfying their clients with good result.

Alleged N306.1m Theft: Court Grants 52-Year-Old Man N10m Bail

LONDON, ENGLAND November 9, 2023
We hereby address the matter highlighted in the Tribune online on October 30th, 2023, concerning the alleged theft of N306.1 million. We vehemently deny these false allegations leveled against Rev Paul-Kayode Joash and his company. There is no evidence to suggest that any money was obtained through theft, false pretence, or any other illegal means.

One of our core services involves assisting individuals in securing employment as Health Care Assistants and Carers in the United Kingdom. While numerous candidates have successfully found work in the UK from Nigeria, we encountered delays with a care home and experienced changes in government regulations. Unfortunately, this resulted in an unforeseen delay in processing the applications of outstanding candidates as originally planned.

In light of the circumstances, we made a commitment to refund the agency and service fees charged. We have initiated the refund process, albeit at a slower pace than anticipated due to pending refunds from our supplying partners.

Naturally, candidates may feel aggrieved and place pressure on their agents, leading to the involvement of the police and the levying of false allegations against Rev Paul-Kayode Joash.

We are fully committed to clearing Rev Paul-Kayode Joash of all baseless charges maliciously brought against him, as well as addressing the needs of our current candidates. This includes providing refunds to candidates requesting them and, most importantly, concluding the process of securing care jobs for our current candidates within the next few weeks.

We firmly believe that this is a transformative phase in which positive outcomes can arise from adversity. As a result of this case, we have taken steps to secure the bail release of 30 inmates at Agodi Prison and have also covered the WAEC/NECO examination fees for 15 inmates. We intend to collaborate with Agodi Prison in advocating for justice for those unjustly remanded.

Your chairman is a thief, he is owing me too, I paid for a land since 2014, he is a thief, a fraud, using God’s name to steal from People
