Iwobi overtakes Aghahowa in Premier League appearances

Alex Iwobi has overtaken former Super Eagles hero, Julius Aghahowa, for the number of appearances in the Premier League, as he played in Arsenal’s game against Sunderland.
Aghahowa, who represented Wigan Athletic from January 2007 to June 2008, had the same number of games played in the English top flight (twenty) as Iwobi, prior to today’s game at the Stadium of Light.
The 20-year-old Iwobi started the match in attacking midfield alongside Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
