Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, scored for Manchester City in the 1-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League on Sunday.
The 19-year-old started on the bench as the City manager, Manuel Pellegrini, opted to start Argentine striker, Sergio Aguero.
Iheanacho replaced Fernando on 66 minutes and quickly made his presence felt.
A sweeping move from City that involved David Silva and Gael Clichy ended with the young Nigerian sweeping home a fearsome volley into the top right hand corner past a shell-shocked Hugo Lloris in goal for Spurs.
The goal by Iheanacho temporarily evened the scores after Harry Kane had opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 54th minute.
Christian Eriksen scored the winner for Spurs in the 83rd minute to push a dagger into City hearts.
Iheancho has scored nine goals in all competitions this season.
