Girl whips kid brother to death for refusing to run errand

A 15-year-old girl has whipped her seven-year-old sibling to death at Otuagbagi Community in the Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The incident was preceded by a disagreement between the deceased and his sister over domestic issues.
A witness in the neighborhood said the deceased received severe whipping for refusing to go on an errand.
A Police source in the Ogbia Division of the Nigeria Police, said that the incident occurred on November 9.
Spokesman of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Mr Asimin Butswat, confirmed the incident.
He said that the corpse of the deceased had been deposited at the Kolo General Hospital in Ogbia.
The parents of the deceased had been in shock over the development.
The tragedy was said to have occurred after school hours in the absence of the parents.
