Fourteen-year-old Ese Oruru, allegedly abducted by Yunusa Dahiru, gave birth to a girl at Government House Clinic in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on Thursday.
Mr Charles Oruru, Ese’s father, told reporters that his granddaughter and daughter were in good health.

“Ese delivered a girl and she and the baby are in good health, I just left the clinic where I went to see them,” Charles said.

Ese was allegedly abducted by Yunusa Dahiru and taken to Kano where she was forcefully married.

Dahiru was on March 8, 2016 charged with abduction, kidnapping, unlawful carnal knowledge and sexual exploitation by the Police.

Dahiru, a.k.a Yellow, who had pleaded not guilty to the charges, was granted bail in the sum of N3 million with two sureties in like sum.
