Dasukigate: Court revokes Obadina’s bail over N2.4bn scam

Dasuki

Reprieve came the way of former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), on Tuesday as Justice Adeniyi Ademola of Federal High Court, Abuja ordered the Federal Government to release his international passport immediately.
The trial judge said it was wrong for the government to deny Dasuki medical attention abroad by seizing his passport.
Justice Ademola said: “Every Nigerian has the right to choose medical help wherever he feels. The accused can only stand trial if he is healthy”.
He asked the Chief Registrar of the court to release the passport to enable Dasuki travel abroad for treatment.
Justice Ademola adjourned the case to November 26 and 27 to determine whether to shield the identities of witnesses or not.
“After that, the trial will commence”.
