Emmanuel Emenike could make his Premier League debut on Saturday for West Ham United.
The Hammers face Southampton at Saint Mary’s and Emenike, who joined the club on loan from Turkish side Fernabahce, is in contention to make his debut.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic revealed in his press conference that Emenike has been training with the rest of the squad and could yet get the nod to play against the Saints.
“We will watch him in training before deciding whether he will be in the squad for Saturday.
“He arrived in England on Wednesday because of the work permit issues.
“We will see how it goes on Saturday,” he said.
Emenike has scored 74 league goals since he began his professional football education with Turkish club Karabükspor in 2009.
The 28-year-old has also previously played for Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League.
