Peter Okoye has said that he has reservations over his brother, Jude’s continued management of the popular Nigerian singing duo, P-square.
The duo of Peter and Paul Okoye make-up P-square.
Jude Okoye, Chief Executive of Northside Entertainment, is the elder brother of Peter and Paul and has been the manager of the group since they started singing.
In a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, Peter said that he was fed up with the management style of Jude.
“If it’s the way forward, then let the management go, business is business. I stand here 100 per cent for my brother Paul and P-square but not with our so-called management.
“I have regretted a lot of things in my life but trust me, this is not one of them,” he said
It is believed Peter is making the call to disengage the manager because of strong family ties and influence on the group.
“Whosoever makes any transaction with Northside Entertainment or Jude Okoye on P-square’s behalf does so at their own risk.
“No more family business. How can you run a business with no structure?
He, however, assured his teeming fans that the decision will not affect him and Paul as P-square artistes.
“I don’t have a problem with Paul but the management and for those that will start saying P-square is breaking up, we are not.
“What the fans want is Peter and Paul’s P-square and that’s what I want. Period,” he said.
