Buhari in Daura for Sallah

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in his country home, Daura, Katsina State for the Eid -el Kabir celebration.
Buhari landed at the Daura helipad at 6:35 pm on Monday in a presidential helicopter marked NAF -541 along with members of his family and some aides.
In the president’s entourage was his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
Others were Alhaji Garba Darazo, his Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs and Malam Lawal Kazaure, the Chief Protocol Officer to the President.
The president was received by the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Farouk Umar, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Wakili, and other dignitaries.
Buhari had earlier arrived Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport ahead of the Sallah celebration.
Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State, Minister of State, Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika and other government officials were among those at the airport to welcome the President.
